From Cape Town, South Africa - A Label DJ for NANO Records since 2004 - DJing since '96. I started out on the underground scene as a DAT Jockey -( DJ'ing off DAT Tapes), playing Goa and what was to become Psy-trance at the same time doing party deco and extensive travelling.I lived in Europe for 6 years where I initially got connected with NANO while putting on undergound/ squat partys under the guise of Indigo children - throwing some of the most notorious outdoor and indoor underground events around London in 2003/4 .This allowed me the opportunity to get further connected and influenced by many artists, travellers and party freaks around the globe which have all helped in some way to define and develope my sound and attitude towards partying , DJ'ing and finally production."My sound is strongly influenced by what is cooking @ Nano and is basically wrapped up in the Sound Of an Outdoor South African Party - getting down and having a hellava lot of fun doing it. Top Quality Dancefloor Tunes and keeping the bar raised."At the moment REX is based in Brazil, looking after NANO affairs in South America and rocking crowds with fresh music from the NANO Studios around the World.Favourite Events that I have played at so far include: Brasil: Universo Paralello Festival , Fora Do tempo Festival, Trancendence Festival, Tranceformation Festival. South Africa: Origin Festival, Vortex New Years Festival , Alien Safari, Beartrap / Groovy Troopers and most clubs in and around the scene. Chile: Montemapu Festival 2008Currently working on my Live projects with Brasilian, Ike as Made On Earth, we currently did a track with Aphid Moon ( The Happening ) due for release early 2009 on Aphid Records .I also work as Digital Nature, with Israeli Etay Hararri aka ETIC - check Beatport for tracks...............................Rex nasceu em Cape Town, África do Sul e representa a NANO Records desde 2004. Sua carreira de dj iniciou em 1996 quando Rex começou na cena underground como DAT Jockey, tocando GOA e evoluindo para o Psy-trance com o passar dos anos. Ao mesmo tempo em que tocava, viajava e organizava festas pelo mundo. Viveu na Europa por 6 anos, onde foi responsável pelas festas underground com o nome de Indigo Children - uma das maiores e mais notórias festas indoor e outdoor em Londres em 2003/04. Isso possibilitou com que ele entrasse em contato com diferentes artistas que o inspiraram, além de pessoas de todas as partes do mundo e com culturas muito diferentes. Tudo isso contribuiu na construção de um tipo único de música o que é ser dj e finalmente produzir música. Eu faz minha live agora nome Made On Earth. No momento, Rex está no Brasil cuidando dos negócios da NANO na América do Sul, além, é claro, de atrair multidões com músicas da NANO de todas as partes do Mundo. Rex já se apresentou nos festivais mais importantes do Brasil como Universo Paralello, Trancendence e TranceFormation; além de festas pelos quatro cantos do pais.
