About Me

My name is Clark Hoyle (as you can probably tell by the big bold words at the top of the page) and I make really good music..and salsa. Some people say I'm pretty hot for an old guy but my kids sorely disagree =(. I can play guitar like a madman and I write all kinds of songs from emo sob stories to redneck suicides. I've been playing guitar basically all of my life - I had a martin in the womb. I'm really immature and break out into girl songs at my shows sometimes, and I'm a smart-ass but I'm still freaking fun. Normally I wear regular shirts tucked into my jeans, but when I do shows I wear un-tucked Hawaiian shirts. I'm awesome =)
-( An Imposter )

Ok, I didn't really write that, but this really cute girl did, my daughter, and it's not too far from the truth in some respects, I am pretty hot for an old guy, heh heh... really, I am a songwriter and a member of NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International). I do play a Martin (D35) most of the time, and I have been playing pretty much all of my life. I tend to write about a lot of things, I am a philosopher at heart, and I listen very well, so be careful what you say when you're around me, you might end up in one of my songs. and yeah, every once in a while, something just a little redneck slips in. oh, occasionally wear Hawaiian shirts too.
