About Me

I know other people better than I know myself. Brush my teeth whenever there are fires outside. Take naps when there's a tornado warning. I want to work at Toys R Us. I have a lot of feelings but they won't make their way to you unless I don't get enough sleep. I like sleep. HATE making small talk with people I know, which leads me to wonder how I got to know them in the first place... Oh yeah, booze.

My Interests

Recently: karaoke bars, self-hypnosis, feng shui, mind power, partner-dancing, polyamory, aromatherapy
Not so recently: astrology, personality analysis, looking at pictures of people I don't know and making up stories about them, making up stories in general, people-watching, quantum physics

Music:

I have a different favorite band each month, but there are a few guys that will always hold a place in my heart. Talking Heads, Wilco, Ryan Adams, Magnetic Fields--to name a few. Been listening to Kings of Leon a lot lately.

Movies:

Again, seems like the last movie I watch is usually my favorite at the moment. Forevers: Royal Tenenbaums, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Harold and Maude, Closer, I Heart Huckabees.

Television:

Only thing really worth watching is Curb Your Enthusiasm. I do, however, watch the Sunday night ABC line-up (I shamefully admit). I didn't have cable until recently. As predicted, television gives me gas. Even though ironically I might write for it someday.

Books:

Lately: The Plague, Indecision (I'm adapting it. We'll see how that goes.), Angel Numbers, Celestine Prophecy, Immortality.

Heroes:
