The Archive

They started to write rhymes together back in the late 90's, before hip hop started to be cool. As two wannabes they started hanging out with the big boys and that's how they met Subliminal and the rest of the tact crew in the legendary "The Joint" club. After taking a long break from the Tel Aviv scene, they started to juggle with words and dig deep in the American underground scene… that's why they're called "The Archive". After joining the army, they pretty much guest appeared on every hip hop album in Israel, including Taboo+, Mesika, Subliminal and The Shadow, and others. They also worked with Mommy Levy and Baby G from Kele 6. After the army, they recorded their debut album that didn't get released due to the typical industry bullshit and overall stupid decisions. Some of the greatest producers in Israel devoted a lot of time to making sure the album will sound different, including Adam (from The Shevet), DJ Caress, DJ Dao, Joseph, The GodFish and others. During their break from their own album, they finished another album with the 51% collective - The Archive, Taboo+, The GodFish (Shai Fishman), Che and Joseph. The self titled album will be out in the next few months. Another project that's on the horizon is the "LIL' ROOM" project which will take a more alternative approach. The members in "LIL' ROOM" are - The Archive, Taboo+, Noam Whal, and the great DJ caress.
