Ijeoma

I am a singer songwriter from Newcastle, and now living in London. I am working in collaboration with The Sindecut production (DJ FINGERS and BOBBY FABULOUS). Our first promo release was "Stand Tall" (B side "Pack your sh*t up") [MURAL MUSIC]. This featured on 'Afromentals 20' mixed by DJ Jamal. I have been writing songs for as long as I can remember but wrote and recorded my first record with Soku for the label Quad Communiactions back in 1999 'Time on my hands/Precious feat Jess Okoro' which featured on a few compilation albums at the time. I also recorded vocals for Nova Scotia on a track called 'Loose Leaves' for Airtight records which also featured on a few compilation albums a couple of years later, including Soundworx and The Blue Bar.In Newcastle, I sang with the northeast reggae band Sky Juice, where I met Komposure, We ended up starting our own band with DJ Nobody and Tolu called The Flow. We played at Mobo unsigned and were playing gigs and local festivals for a while until I moved to London.
