About Me

I'm your average 40 year-old who grew up in, and still lives in a small town in the rural south. For better or worse, my upbringing has colored my world. Friendship is a big deal to me, but I can be a little hard to get to know at first. I'm not really stand-offish, but shy. I love hiking, kayaking, and camping. I'm not really into hunting but I have been known to go fishing with the right company. I have a love/hate relationship with TV/Movies/Music. Right now I think a lot of what is out there is trash so I have been scaling back on all of the above. I love comedy, but can't stand it if it becomes hurtful. I have made mistakes in life and I'm working diligently to correct those mistakes and move on beyond them. I have opinions/beliefs on almost every topic but I think I am a pretty open-minded person. If we disagree on something it isn't a big deal, in the words of one of my friends "convince me I am wrong." Trust me, I've been known to be wrong before. If you are still reading this long-winded intro I'm impressed, I would have given up after line 2. If you want to know anymore about me, just ask!
