Random thoughts of Sami Abdel-Rahman
I was born to an Egyptian Pharaoh & an English Queen, I am blessed to come from and be part of two of the world’s greatest empires & civilizations...Sometimes describing the things you hate in life rather than what you do like can paint a more honest picture of yourself....I wish politicians really did what was for the good of the people rather than what was in their own personal interests....I try not to make assumptions about people & I hate it when I do, but I also find it refreshing when I'm proven wrong about a person. My favorite word is “Eclectic,†I just love its meaning and the way it sounds...I really miss having faith in humanity....I hate the winter & the cold; I’m not built for it. In an ideal world I would spend spring & summer in England and the other 2 seasons on a warm, tranquil island and never seeing snow or feel the cold wind & rain beat down on me ever again....but like I said in a perfect world.
I love flat Diet Coke, Nando’s, Salad Cream, Pain au Chocolat, Vanilla Nourishments and Roast Lamb. I love my dog Sadie, the Summer, waking up with the sun shinning through my window & the Transformers. Seeing a "Banksy" on my way through London & skanking out @ FWDThis is the first time in 12 years that I haven’t been playing basketball and I must say that I don’t miss it one bit...well that is not strictly true, i do miss all the good people that i don't get to see as often as i like now i have taken myself out of the basketball arena. I have had the honour of captaining the England U21 national team and I appreciate what basketball has done for me and taken me but I think it was the right time to walk away.
