The TYME has come to an END...
Endtyme Inc. is sad to say, that we've quit....
After month of nothingness inside the band and the fact that some members moved to different cities, respectively haven't had enough time to go on with the band, we decided to quit the band.
Nevertheless we're gonna finish the recordings of our first real EP and hope to promote this 40-Minute-Piece with a last Live-Gig.
Stay tuned for News and Infos!!!
p.s.: We are proud to say thank you to all the people who visit our concerts and rocked the house with us!
YOU ROCK!!!!
Also many thank to the bands we've played with!
History:
After guitarists Holger Blume and Christian Hack discussed for years to get together to jam, they finally decided November 2003 to start the whole idea properly as a band from the very beginning. In ex-Devil's Cry guitarist Ivo Leidner, ex-Postnuclear Deathmass Bassist Matthias Schott and ex-Wicked drummer Marcus Pieper, they soon found the right people in the lively band scene of Bayreuth and started practicing beginning of December.
Despite Holgers initial intentions to only work the mic, he already had to go back working his guitar during the first written song since songwriting was so complex from the beginning, that the band was forced to work with three guitars.
Since both Christian and Holger are also playing in other bands, practice was rather sparse but nevertheless was able to master the first gig in front of approx. 300 people after only 5 month of creating the band. Opening slot during the Zentury Festival 2004 was the first small success, despite presenting the audience with only two (!) songs during the short 25-minute gig. The following weekend the band (also) was able to open the Kulmbach-Metal-Night.
ENDTYME INC. recorded their first song 'To Those Who Writhe In Pain' in July at the practice room of the band Aletheia (a band Holger was a member of). Within 2 days recording was completed.
The following months the band spent with songwriting, until an invitation to the Mirror it in Blood festival was received in October. Since only hardcore and grindcore bands were present at the festival besides ENDTYME INC, many were rather surprised to see the audience doing pogo as hell. Even mic stands were unable to escape the carnage and were plowed over several times. Towards year-end several more gigs, e.g. with Hatred, Postnuclear Deathmass and Aletheia were added.
Since then they've played a few more shows (including a gig in France) together with, for example, Disillusion and Tankard.
Alltogether they've written 6 Songs (which had a complete playing time of about 80 Minutes...) and 3 of them will appear on the EP, which the Band is, in spite of the end of it, still recording.
The EP is called "Songs Of Peril" and the release-date is set somewhere in the near future...
The other 3 Songs will remain nameless in time... sorry for that... the band is unhappy 'bout that, too...
