I recently have been researching animal cruelty and am astounded by the cruelty that I have been seeing. Animals having their testicles ripped form their bodies, teeth pulled, chickens whipped against walls, turkeys sexually assaulted, pigs boiled alive and beated to death with tools. I am absolutely horrified with what we do to animals in order to have a burger. PLEASE, I urge you, get off your ass and go to http://www.aspca.org/site/PageServer?pagename=lobby_lookup. Find your legislator and let them know they are in office to represent you. Ask them to help pass bills that stop the inhumane treatment of animals. If you're going to eat meat, it's the least you can do.
