Oath of office of the President of the United States:
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my Ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Bush has done the exact opposite of his oath. He has reduced the protections outlined in the Constitution, and he has sought ways to ignore sections he finds onerous on his ability to govern unfettered by congressional restrictions.

Oath of office of Congress, Vice President, members of the Cabinet, and all other civil and military officers and federal employees other than the President.
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; that I take this obligation freely, without any mental reservation or purpose of evasion; and that I will well and faithfully discharge the duties of the office on which I am about to enter."
Any member of Congress that is unwilling to defend the Constitution of the United States is violating their oath of office. Impeachment of George W. Bush and Dick Cheney is necessary to defend the Constitution from further erosion. They must be impeached now. Ask yourself, if eroding rights of Habeus Corpus, allowing torture on US soil (and sending detainees to places where it is known they will be tortured), using known false statements to get the US to start a war, spying on citizens without a warrant, etc... is not enough for starting Articles of Impeachment, what the hell would it take?
Saying that it will take too long, we don't have the votes, blah blah blah, does not remove the responsibility of Congress to OBEY THEIR OATHS OF OFFICE. More citizens are demanding impeachment now than before impeachment proceedings started for Nixon. We the citizens are DEMANDING that Congress serve its Constitutional purpose. The next president will have all of the powers that George Bush has gained through Congress allowing him to do so. I don't care who the next president is, they cannot have these new powers.
You may have noticed that music that I like but you couldn't give two fucks about is not playing right now. That is the my promise to you...No automatic music blaring from your speakers.
