Being a mom is my #1 priority.I love long walks in the woods, lazy days on the beach, traveling to far away places (or anywhere I haven't been before), bonfires on chilly evenings, hanging out with my friends, reading good books and sometimes just relaxing at home by myself.

I love the hair bands of the 80's (as my brother would say "the 80's are calling, they want you back".), Daughtry, Nickelback, Matchbox 20, anything country (except the real old stuff) and, of course, anything by Rick Springfield!
I pretty much like them all but Suspense, Psychological Thrillers, Drama, & Comedy are my favorites. Sports and War movies fall at the bottom of my list.
I don't usually have time to watch a ton of TV, but I try to catch CSI. I recently got into Grey's Anatomy (thanks, Yoyo). I tend to get hooked on reality tv so I try not to even start watching it, but if I do, it's usually: Survivor, Amazing Race, Big Brother, Apprentice and even a dating show every now and then (lame, I know).
I love to relax with a good book. I'll usually pick up something with mystery, suspense, and a little love story thrown in (Mary Higgins Clark is one of the best). Lately, for a change of pace, I've been reading Harry Potter.
My Dad has been my hero ever since I was a little girl and he rescued a little boy off a cliff. Anyone who stands up for what they believe in (even when it's not the most popular choice) is a hero in my eyes.
