I've pretty much completely neglected myspace up until this point until I realized what it's actually good for: music. And nothing else. Make no mistake about it.I consider myself fortunate to have gone through the Herricks school district, which ingrained music directly into my synapses. Played clarinet for 10 years until I abandoned it for chorus. Took voice lessons for three years. Performed in the musical every year throughout high school, the best of which was Hair. Played drums a little in senior year in a small band with two friends. Want to develop more drumming skills (my parents are trying to sell off the set. hell no). Suppressed creative side for academics when I got to college. Decided that suppressing creative side had torn a hole in my soul. Re-engaged creative side (hopefully on a permanent basis). Picked up bass a couple of months ago. Practicing bass a shitload. Currently trying to learn Tool's "The Pot," which isn't easy. Making progress. Jamming consistently with a bunch of friends. Currently writing lyrics and composing some songs. Hoping to record this summer with an extended version of my old HS band. Trying to keep the dream alive.Academically pursuing a Ph.D in psychology.
I'm not really from Berlin. I was born in Queens.
