About Me

Buy our CD at

Formed in 2005, the Flashing Reds are Mike “Diplomat” Adamowicz (guitar, harmonica, and vocals), Justin Kisch (keyboards and vocals), Anton Lund (drums and vocals), and Joe Therrien (bass). Based in the Boston/Providence area, they have performed throughout New England as well as in such cities as Montreal, Toronto, Memphis, and Nashville.

The Flashing Reds blend rock and Americana influences into their own unique style. Waxing poetic, they might tell you that their songs sound like: "Sitting by the fire on a cold winter’s night... Enjoying that first cup of coffee in the morning... Songs to sing you to sleep and then wake you up again... Songs of heartache, songs of hope...” Influences include R.E.M., Neil Young, Counting Crows, the Jayhawks, Ben Folds Five, Aimee Mann, and Elvis Costello.

The Flashing Reds’ debut CD is now available. They continue to play throughout New England: please check back for shows in your area.
