MCP: reviving the true sprit of Heavy Metal, combining driving, fast dual leads with melodic, roaring vocals and thunderous drumming to produce a unique brand of Metal all their own. The pulsating rhythms and intricate arrangements culminated by these young musicians have turned many heads, sparking much attention in the San Francisco Bay Area Metal scene.
Formed in early 2007 and hailing from Hayward. California, MCP created this acronym to make a statement that they will bring the true spirit of metal back as “Metal’s Chosen Prophets.†After numerous lineup changes the founding members: Ilya Esterlis (Lead Guitar), with his massive, rapid-fire solos and Juan Cabrera (Drums and Vocals) with his powerful, elaborate rhythmic patterns and dark voice, found the musicians they had been searching for. Daniel Flores, providing heavy riffs and a captivating stage presence on Rhythm Guitar. Cameron Bright, laying down the thunderous low end on Bass Guitar.
