Educating myself (reading books, observing people and their interactions; I enjoy conversations with friends, family, and peers - you can learn alot by listening to people's experiences in return learning about yourself). Communication is the key to having healthy relationships. I am interested in relationship and life coaching. Additionally, I feel that our youth are not being taught how to construct healthy relationships and my goal is to teach them! Also, I am a promoter of healthy marriages. My husband and I have been married 8 years in June '07 with no children - who said you can't be married for a while without kids. If you find them tell them I said WHATEVER... Trust me - enjoy your marriage first! Most importantly I just love to LAUGH!!!!

Movies about love and changing society - Pay It Forward (everyone should own this movie and show it to all adults and children they come across), Brown Sugar, Love Jones, Love and Basketball, The Best Man, Akeelah and the Bee, Pursuit of Happyness, The Great Debaters, so many - I'll come back to this too. Oh yeah, I love musicals - The Wiz, West Side Story... Comedy is always a life saver
I don't get to watch alot of tv these days - in school, working, being a wife, etc.OK - I do get to catch Lincoln Heights on Tuesdays! Throwback shows - Martin, Welcome Back Kotter, etc. Of course DA BEARS games!
Unfortunately I haven't been leisurely reading since I have to read so much for school. However, currently I am attempting to read Barack Obama - Dreams from My Father and The Audacity of Hope; Rich Dad Poor Dad. I like motivational books such as Move Out of Your Own Way, In the Meantime, etc.
