Former lead singer with B-Movie - early eighties, Post Punk/New Romantic era. Best known for 'Remembrance Day' (No.61 in charts-March 1981) and 'Nowhere Girl' (No.67-March 1982) Some Bizzare Records. Toured USA 3 times. 'Nowhere Girl' a KROQ classic. Finest moment - Peel session March 1981. Check out 'The BBC Sessions' on Cherry Red. Worst moment - Album 'Forever Running' on Sire 1985. Repackaged as 'The Platinum Collection' Warner Bros in 2006. 'Nowhere Girl' Remixed by Adam Freeland on Future Retro album (Warners) 2006.Post B-Movie. One - album 'Upstream' (Chrysalis) 1989. Rare, produced by Tom Frederikse. Upbeat acoustic pop. Highlight 'Roof of the World' 3 songs on 'Golden Fish Fever' by Amethyst (Jackpot)1998. Single 'Electric Jesus'. Big beat, trance, ambient. 'Oblique' composition commissioned by Open Eye Gallery in Liverpool for Dolores Marat photographic exhibition. Collaboration with Peter Glennie 2001. B-Movie reformation at Metro Club Oct 28th 2004, original line-up. Collaborated with Paul Statham (ex B-Movie) on three songs. Performed live on March 26th 2006 at Metro Club. Heading out to France on July 28th to bottle the wine. If all goes to plan should have 300 bottles (maybe a few magnums) which should keep me going for a while.
