About Me

Day by day, choice by choice, I string together a masterpiece that I can call artful living.
I'm Courtney. I feel it, probably too much. When I'm happy I'm ecstatic, when I'm sad I'm very melancholy. I adopt the motto: "Silly is you in a natural state and serious is something you have to do until you can get silly again." If you ask Jacks, Matt or Jules (My "other" Family) they'll tell you I can come across like a know-it-all with little tact and endless curiosity. But they'll also tell you I'm a lover not a fighter and if I hurt you I surely didn't intend to.
I'm lacking the gene of "competitiveness", I don't care about being the best at something and rubbing it in someone's face. All I promise is that I'll be true to who I am made to be and if I happen to do something well I count it as an added bonus. I compensate for this "deficiency" by being overly protective of myself and those I love. If someone is being wronged you can expect me to be right there supporting them and taking some of the burden off their shoulders.
I look back on the past 6 years of my life and I can say that I feel like I have learned a great amount, and at the same time learned nothing at all. It goes along the lines of learning so much and having all these new tools are my fingertips but still sometimes failing to use them when the time is right. We are only as good as our purposeful choices, and good choices are the rewards of our freedom to choose our priorities. Think about that.
*Laughs* My profile seems so serious when I'm a total free spirit in person. Ah, paradox. ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ? ?
