I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

Due to the nature of my jobs, I have a lot of free time to spend with God, friends and basically to do whatever I please. It's a blessing. So if you'd like to talk to me in person I'm fairly available for coffees, etc. I also feel it is a great privilege to be able to pray for others and I love to encourage them this way, so if you need prayer just ask me. Even if you don't believe prayer works. Just try it. I am slowly chipping away at the giant nugget called "What God has in store for me" and I'm finding most of it is pure gold. That which isn't is being burned up by refining fire. I don't really identify myself by my jobs, but if you'd like to know, I stay occupied and make money by working as a: mystery shopper, journalist, photographer, media officer, office secretary and I serve burgers. I work for Marketpulse, Rural Press, GiffardSim Accountants, Nowra Church of Christ, Oporto and I own a business called Dayle Latham Photography. Ironically I do not actually own a camera. I like to exercise where I can and my main interests in this regard are pilates, yoga, soccer, dance and aerobics. I'm considering learning how to run. I am married to a guy named Jamie I met when I was 16 and we shared smokes on a bus ride to Brisbane. ThenI didn't see him for four years and we met again in a pub. And then a whole bunch of stuff happened and we got married a few years later. You can ask me about it if you like. We lead a Bible Study at our house once a week on Wednesdays and you can come if you want. It is geared toward young people aged 18-25ish. I am in a small prayer triplet that meet fortnightly which has been very awesome. I have a mum and a dad, a sister and a brother who are all fairly cool and we always have fun together. I like to eat most foods, but I try to steer clear of sugar because it's evil. I am pretty disorganised and there is heaps of crap in my house, because Jamie and I aren't exactly neat freaks. However I try to clean once a week to keep it nice for others. We have too many couches. And I have too many clothes. We have a very small bedroom that contains 1 bed and has a quilt for a curtain. We rent from the people next door. Jamie and I, well mostly Jamie because I hate getting dirty nails (don't be fooled into thinking they are well kept though), have planted a vegetable garden in the back yard. I like plants, but every one I ever had died. I had a plant that was a lovely gift from someone which I killed in about three days, so I thought well I'll look after the ceramic pot it is in, because the lovely couple made the pot too. And just recently I smashed it on the garage floor. I was really mad at myself. I should see if I can get it replaced. I feel compelled to pray often for old people, celebrities and lonely people. I have no car. Actually I have never owned a car. I borrow other peoples, I walk or I get driven. Sometimes I catch taxis but they are very expensive. I have a collection of my little ponies I bought when I made enough money to afford them. Sadly they no longer interest me as much as they did when I was 9. I will soon be graduating university after 6 years of study. Mind you I could have done it in three. I have become quite attached to uni and will probably investigate ways to legitimately return there some day. I once worked for the uni and I made the reading list for a class, so if you ever do a HIST class called sickness and death you can know I contributed to your education, albeit in a minor way. I am actually kind of a loner, and I really don't mind spending long periods of time alone. I am really bad at public speaking and choose not to do it if at all possible. I speak quite well with small numbers of people, but interestingly when I get nervous, I say words out of order. I like music. I like some kinds of booze. I smoked for six years and then quit. I have to go now. target="_blank" Get your own free cool template at Myspace Layouts
