About Me

"I yam what I yam!" Heck, I even eats me spinach. An' I likes it too! Basically I'm sorta quiet until I get to know someone. I have an unusually high amount of patience, a good clean sense of humor, and don't surprise easily. I have been told several times I'm a deep thinker which has been the inspiration for at least one of my best writings. Despite what my religious preference says, I am not simply "other" I am Christian. No subtitles attached. God's wonderful to me, and is the reason I survived the first hour of my life. And the things He gave me to remember this are not Fox news events, but two small scars on my chest, and a little yellow guitar pick. (The story is in my blog "I don't care") I play guitar and am getting nowhere with it but I love playing anyway. I used to draw, but want to get back into it. Probably to do my "final piece". Not likely. I like hunting, fishing, and camping -REAL camping. Yes people that means no microwave, but I keep some matches. Speaking of matches, I like anything that goes whoosh or boom as long as it won't get me into trouble. (But thats half the fun right?) Not quite. I moved over to Cheney at the beginning of this year, and was working at Eastern Washington University. Recently I moved back. I guess I'm like a dog in a sense: I love the water but I only dog-paddle. I've got a very good sense of smell but don't always know what it is. I'm friendly and loyal to the core to anyone who's good to me, especially if she likes me. Hey, maybe if you rub my tummy, my leg will kick! I would do just about anything for anybody, just the way I was raised I suppose. In contrast to the above, don't take my kindness for weakness. At times I do put my foot down and say it exactly how it is. I have learned to be grown up is to say exactly how you feel and let it be known, good or bad. I read people well, and I have a very good intuition. Life to me is never taken for granted, I take each day in and make it the most I can. I change what I can and try not to worry about what I can't. Like I said, I am what I am.

Burned

They say you can tell a lot about a persons character by looking at their parents, that there is a striking similarity in personality. I'm proud to say how very far away from that I am. Lots of k...

In His own image

I was rattling around work the other day, and had a thought. I remembered a movie I had seen called The Agony and the Ecstasy. An old film with Charlton Heston and Rex Harrison. It was about Michelang...

Always Have, Always Will

God, it seems to me, should always be the first word to be written in a sentence, phrase, or thought. He was first to exist, first to create, and first to think of me first. It all started when He dec...

I Don't Care

"I don't care!" I hear that so often. If you don't care, (which means you have given up, and are sitting down to snub anything to do with the topic) then why are you still standing there hollerin...

What Do I Know?

This was actually an assignment for US Hist. If I were to answer the question "What is the most profound thought I ever had" I would say the same thing as Michel Eyquem de Montaigne; "What do I know....
