First and foremost, I am a Christian. God's grace has been so evident in my life. I have an amazing family, great friends, and a job I love. I am a fourth grade teacher here in Texas. I taught third grade for six years prior to this. I love teaching and really can't imagine doing anything else.
I have to say that the hardest thing has been losing my Grandma Dean. She died on October 13. She was one of the greatest influences in my life. I was blessed to be able to go home and spend six precious days with her. She was 79. I miss her greatly but I know I will see her again.
I am really a big kid. I guess it's the influence of my students. I love playing games and watching cartoons.
I collect elephants. I drive a yellow VW bug. I have a cute mutt who's named KIP. I guess that's all the random information you need to know.
