The San Gabriel Valley 5-piece band Abliss formed around 2006 and have been compared to groups such as Chevelle, Thrice, Deftones, Linkin Park, & In Flames to name a few. Abliss creates a mood of hostility and frantic with their self-labeled genre of "Experi-metal". But what sets Abliss apart from the rest is the atmosphere which is cast upon each song. Firm Intros, Warm/Heavy Verses, Catchy Choruses, Into unsuspected breakdowns. Songs so profound and appealing they'll get stuck in your head.
With many different Line-up changes and short-term breaks. Abliss is still strong and determined for all they believe in. Every member has its unique sense of style, mind, and influence that makes each song a group-effort. They take every song seriously and treat each one as an aesthetic creation.
Sharing the stage with many amazing artists and becoming friends with some of the greatest musicians around. Accomplishing shows at top L.A/Hollywood music venues as The Roxy Theater, Whisky a Go-Go and The Knitting Factory (Just to name a few) make Abliss proud of all they have done in the short time they've been a band.
