I'm a big fan of the songwriter.Alot of people don't pay any attention to who wrote the song.They just assume that the singer did.They don't realize that behind every song there's a songwriter or lyricist who has felt what the song is about or has been inspired in another way to write it. I'm proud to be from the Shoals area,which is home to many great songwriters.There is so much music history here.Muscle Shoals Is STILL "The Hit Recording Capital of the World".Muscle Shoals writes the songs the world sings.If people checked the history of their favorite song,They would probally find a Shoals connection.It may be that it was written by a Shoals writer or the singer or writer was influenced by someone who was from or recorded in the Shoals.The Shoals is also home to"Muscle Shoals To Music Row" the biggest songwriter showcase in the world.Where songwriters from all over the U.S. come and are reconized for their work.The live shows are webcast around the world.It's great to meet the writers and hear what they really wrote the song about.
