Coming from a humble background, Joedy was involved in entertainment at an early age. Growing up in an extended family on the island of St.Lucia, he was exposed to various styles and types of music ranging from "Earth, Wind and Fire" to local Calypso and Soca. As a matter of fact, his father was the lead singer for the legendary group "Tru Tones." Although Joedy's sound is unique and of his own, you can still find those subtle qualities in his voice that made his father a local favorite. Joedy himself performed with a St.Lucain band called "Inferno" who has produced music for many local artists. His greatest collective effort came as a member of the group "Midnite Harmonee" who beat out some serious competition and won the Paul Simon "Capeman" contest. This young man soon found himself with a version of Voyetra sequencing software and has been creating his own compositions ever since. Fast forward about 6 years and we have his debut solo album.The Album "STRONG TONIGHT" is here....
