THE STORY:
Originally a spin off concept of one of the most legendary TUESDAY nights in Tampa called "Jacks House", in which Jask(Long time resident @ hyde park cafe for 13 1/2 years) brought in the cream of the crop world reknown talented House djs for 8 years. The owner of the club Tommy O, Jask and long time scenester & local dj, Josh Wilkins felt it was time that Tampa had a SATURDAY night party which focused on some of the same principles and themes that "Jacks House" had and basically used this formula to create "Paradise", an oasis dedicated to house music. So this is how it came to be...Paradise started in 2003 with a mission to expose the deep, soulful, eclectic and sensual side of house music. The resident music maestros at the time were Joshua Wilkins and one of Tampa's pioneer djs & producers, Jask(who is still continuing the night). Once a month bringing in World reknown talented dj/producers in the scene to give back to their faithfull followers for their passionate support of the music, the venue, and the vibe. Paradise happens every 1st,3rd & 5th Saturday night of each month. The Venue is the Hyde Park Cafe, now at legendary status and has kept it together for 13 years and still going. Paradise in its 5 years has played host to some well known djs that have come to set the nights on fire. Some include, Marques Wyatt, Little Louie Vega, Brian Tappert, King Britt, Kaskade, Andy Caldwell, Miguel Migs, Jay-J, John Julius Knight, Mark Grant, Johhny Fiasco, Pete Moss, Julius Papp, Matthias Heilbronn, Karizma, Colette, Dj Heather, Tedd Patterson, David Harness, Dj Disciple, Mark Farina, Miles Maeda, Rasoul, Halo, Eric Kupper, Frankie Feliciano and the list goes on...Paradise is Tampa's only deep soulful house haven dedicated to throwing great parties and keeping the House vibe alive....The residents at this time are JASK and Dino Bonetti.
