The GGs

The Making of a REAL Band

About Me

(Gee Gees)- a sophisticated all-girl Rhythm and Blues group featuring three exceptionally talented, bright and beautiful sisters named Lauren, English and Chyna- are about to take the industry by storm! They're young- really young- but they play with the skills of music professionals nearly twice their age. One only need hear a few minutes of Lauren thumping out the latest bass grooves of complicated R&B and gospel cover tunes, or jam with English as she cruises through jazzy riffs on keyboards, all to the beat of Chyna on the drums, to know that the sisters are a super-talented-explosion-of-musical energy just waiting to happen. Just waiting for the right touch and moment in time.In addition to their skills as musicians, the girls also sing and write their own music. They love the songs they perform and have learned to work along with other professionals in music to develop their material. These young but seasoned professionals have performed on stage with the likes of Tony Toni Tone; opened for acts such as Donnell Jones and Raheem DeVaughn (Southwest Community Music Festival in Atlanta- 2006); and performed on stage at the House of Blues (Las Vegas).Spiritual upbringing is the key to Lauren (19), English (18) and Chynas (17) rapid development as performing artists. They come from a family of talented and dedicated musicians and have studied performance, instrumental technique, vocal and studio production since they were very young. They made their debut as a group in 1995 and since that time, they have won first place for their performances in numerous state and national music competitions and have gigged as a group at over 300 events. Its hard to imagine the GGs were initially encouraged to perform by their mother/father management team (Garry and Lori Robinson) because they were so shy. Today, the girls have developed a special connection to the power of song used to move people and have blossomed into a band that commands attention. Lauren, English and Chyna know that they have been blessed with their talents and believe that to whom much is given much is required. With this dedicated focus and divine intervention, they're sure to reach their goal of inspiring every listener they have a chance to touch.Myspace Contact Tables
