WOODRIDGE XC aka THE DISTANCE SQUAD

We may drink water...but we piss excellence.

About Me

This is the official Woodridge XC boys team site. To answer all the questions, the team (not Coach Howard) created and maintains this site. In other words, it is a team site which 4 or 5 people have the ability to log-on to. Woodridge XC is known by all Ohio in different ways but no matter which way, the whole state knows us. We've had a runner in the Kinney (now Footlocker) National XC Chamionships, Bob Henes. He also has most of the school distance records inculding the 5k-14:52, two mile-9:09, and the mile-4:13. Scott Mercer has the 800m record-1:56.5. We've had great teams in the past. So we honor our alumnist runners by keeping many of our traditions alive. We started in 2003 finishing 8th in our district meet to 8th in the State meet to 3rd in the State meet to State Champs and Nike Team National qualifier. If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to add a comment to our board. Thank you and Keep Running. !IMPORTANT!-our senior runner Scott Hilditch(Kent State) has broken BOB HENES's school mile record with a 4:07 at the Midwest Meet of Champions. Congratulations Scott!
