Welcome to the Goonslag page...
Goonslag are a weird combination of sheer idiocy. With members who are reasonably proficient at playing their instruments, but choose not to do it at times, we refuse to become a mere speck in what is a massive heavy music scene. The lyrics are written by cask wine itself, which possesses our very souls and unleashes the firey demons of lyrics aimed not to touch the soul, but to confuse it. The music is shaped by what we now term as slag metal. There is no bass, bass is for the weak. Goonslag have the inane tendency to be inconsistent, we will be different at every show, depending on how we're feeling. Solos are a must, if you don't have solos in your bands songs, you are shit and we hate you. If you think keyboards have no place in metal, you're probably right. Goonslag have been around since 2005, after an annoying line-up change with the loss of our old drummer, Goonslag got their shit together and once again hit the stage. Now writing more shit, expect more songs about nothing in particular. If you dont drink, fuck you. And no, lex is not a terribly huge fan of the genre otherwise known as hardcore.
