I’m a 25 year old metal head, who loves the neo-classical shred influences from those of the past, as well as present. The music I create is an example of this. I’ve been playing for about 9 years, and first discovered the instrument right around the time I turned 16 or 17. Found an old beat up classical guitar my dad used to have, and it was lying around in our basement. I was bored one day, found it, thought it was cool, and decided to teach myself how to play. Later in life (after playing for about 6 years), I met my best friend Alan, and he is the reason I really matured as a player. I was able to understand the incorporation of theory into my music, as well as the daunting task of improvision. I learned the very aspect of what it is to be a true muscian from him, and I thank him greatfully!
I never took a guitar lesson in my life. I don’t believe in them. If you want to get better, than practice. Lessons are a great way for others to make money off you. I’m not saying all instructors are this way, but unfortunetly many are. I never had a lesson in my life, and I’m an example of where you can go if you practice throughly, and don’t give up.
The music that I post on this page are just cuts and demo’s-nothing really serious. If you got something positive to say about the music, I will welcome all feedback. If you’re going to be a little puke and bad mouth my playing, well than I’d be glad to check out what you have constructed in your spare time. I can assure you MY comment will be lovely in return!
Thank you so much for listening to my music, and I hope you all enjoy listening to it just as much as I did creating it for you! Enjoy!
