Okay, I have re-written this "about me" 3 times. Bottom line is I just recently stopped making excuses for myself and gave up the "Pity Party" . I wiped out my fancy myspace page and I am going to let it create itself. I felt like even my page wasn't really me. I have been in and out of the industry for 10 years and only now feel like I have found myself. I struggled as an artist because everyone had a "place" for me. Now I am writing for different genre's and have found my greatest strength and deepest weaknesses.So, if you want to hear my journey back from addiction, my overdose into a coma, Miss Teen USA, the fact that I am a yodeling ventriliquist, being held at gunpoint, getting kicked in the face by a horse, breaking my foot UNDER a treadmill, how funny it all is now, running the olympic torch, touring through Kosovo, my years in NYC or just to drop names, DO IT! I love to meet new people that know without passion, pain and compassion we are empty shells wandering aimlessly....and hey, if we can make enough money to live on ( maybe a little extra for fun) that's all any of us can ask for.I am a singer, a writer and finally a musician. You can never be a musician if you don't strike that first note.......I used to sit back and wish I could play multiple instruments like some of the songwriters I knew. I used to say I would give anything to make my music work, oh, aside from just doing it. Isn't that weird how you actually have to pick up an instrument to learn how to play????? The hardest thing we face as artists and creative minds is channeling it! I am a punk rock, pop, country,rockabilly, rock and roll, sappy love song kinda girl....just depends on the day...and that is just fine with me. Enough about me for now, there is enough online to search all of that and more...this is about music, life, love, pain, sadness, growth and passion.Thank you to everyone that knew I had it in me and waited patiently pounding it into my thick skull..... After all, if I didn't learn to HATE corporate America how could I have realized that to do what I love I would sell my good kidney (the left one I think).......money really isn't everything...anyone need a kitchen table? I'm serious.

Influences: My biggest influence is Kosovo. After playing all over the country a piece of my heart will always be there. To my dogs Roland and BJ for sticking it out even though they had no choice. Thanks to BARC animal shelter in Brooklyn New York for saving my pitbull Roland for me and taking such good care of him. He is going through certification in June to be a therapy dog!
