It's a new day for the music industry! Introducing the newest face in underground soul, MARK D'MITRI a.k.a "The CHOIR BOI". Raised in Annapolis Maryland, born in Baltimore, this talented young artist was introduced to a love for music at an early age. Growing up watching his family perform in church, "THE CHIOR BOI", born Mark D'Mitri Jackson, had a undeniable taste for the smooth sounds of vocal expression that gospel, r&b, and the blues had to offer. However, he himself never liked to sing at first ,"Because growing up in Maryland aint nothing to sing about"! Instead he found his own musical start in Hip Hop, and small time beat production. It was'nt until doing a recording session with close friend and then neighbor "MINLUS", that he sang a hook for a song he was writing. Thats when minlus told him,"naw (dude), you gotta sing now...." , and ever since then, he's been in the game making plays! Finishing up his pioneering debut and mixtape("untitled X"),with his best friend and producer Andre Lipscomb, he is now in the process of starting a full albulm entitled" WHAT IT MEANS TO F.L.Y. VOL.1". The project encorporates his unique R&B with a blend of Hip Hop and Pop, and features an array of beats from producers around the country. It displays his talented expression as a singer/songwriter, producer, rapper, and his unique outlook on the world as well as the skills of many artist from the Maryland area, including his group 3-UP, of Pioneer city ,Maryland.
