I just moved to Orlando, FL from Nashville, TN. It's a little different from home I guess. I moved from a town where I knew pretty much everyone to a town where I don't know a soul. It's pretty easy for me to meet people so I don't see me not knowing anyone for very long.
I own a company called LANDMINE COMEDY which is why I am here. I was fired from my job before I started this company and I used that as fuel to my fire. I basically took everything I was taught at my previous job and ran with it. I absolutely love what I do and it feels good to enjoy it. I work with a lot of comedians from the tv show "Last Comic Standing" and several comedians who have appeared on Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, MTV, CMT, and several other networks. My company provides these comedians with tour dates all around the country in different venues such as Hotels & Casinos, Bars, Nightclubs, Fund Raisers, Private Functions, Radio Station Promos, Cruise Ships, Corporate Events, Comedy Clubs, Air Force Bases, etc... One of my goals for my company is to open up a talent management company under the corporation I have started. I'm thinking 6 months down the road, but we will see how everything plays out.
My office is very fast paced and can get quite crazy on some days, you should see the energy that is pumped out of that place! Have you ever seen the movie "Boiler Room"?? My line of work is very similar, but on a much smaller scale, and legal at that. Watch it if you have not seen it. That movie will get your ass in gear! The thrill of closing a sale is a feeling I really can't put into words.
I'm fun to be around and know how to raise the level anywhere I go on any given night. But don't be fooled, when it comes to my business I'm all work and no play! I love all sports, basketball being my favorite. I'm really passionate about music. I play pretty much anything with strings on it and a little piano. Guitar is what I would consider myself best at musically. You can check out my myspace music site I have CLICK HERE FOR MY MUSIC!
I know exactly what I want out of life and I have figured out how to achieve it. Now it's just a work in progress to make sure I get it and I am enjoying every single minute of it along the way, despite the ups and downs. But I don't let the small things bother me to much. I have better things to do with my time.
After I accomplish everything I have been dreaming about, I hope to write a book and tell everyone how I did it. Here's an interesting fact for you. I had $42.00 in my pocket and a vision when I got off of the airplane in Orlando and yes I said $42.00. I believed in what I was doing and now LandMine Comedy is off to a GREAT start.
I recently became addicted to sushi and I have to have it at least once a week. I keep my friends and family close, they mean the world to me. I like nights on the town with friends, traveling, good food, and the occasional spontaneous road trip with no set destination. You get one chance at life so you may as well live it. That's the way I see it. Click on the logo above and check out my company.
