In late autumn of 2005 the guitarist and composer Ludwig Goransson gathered his good friends and favorite musicians to form the band Fabulous Five. The quintet originates from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm and the setting is drums, piano, guitar, bass and saxophone. They won the final round of "Young Jazz" at Fasching 2006.The music is described as modern jazz focusing on strong melodies and exciting compositions with lots of energy and musical presense contributing to the sound.
