Hello my friends! I know it's been a month or 4 since my last log in so I thought I would update you on what's been going on in my life. I was caregiving for a friend of mine that was diagnosed with three types of cancer. He called me out of the blue one day and said.."Help me..I'm dying." When you get a call like that it totally turns your world upside down. At first things were easy... run errands, help him grocery shop, doctor appointments, etc.. easy money. But then his health rapidly declined leaving him in a devastating state, a shell of his former self. I stood by him while he was admitted to the ER, then PCU and finally Hospice. Yeah, that sucked. After he died I continued to stay with him until his body turned cold. He was a good man, a strong-willed, independent, extremely intelligent person. I will miss you Charles. I asked him to haunt me or come to me in a dream. No such luck. Death is so final.So anyway I've also been struggling with my inner demons and letting my emotional eating reign. This is totally unfortunate. I don't want to live in this huge body. So it's time for a lifestyle change. No more binging...I hope. Wish me luck my friends.I love you all and wish you the best in life. Take care of you because no one else can do it for you.
