It was summertime of 2006 when Wes Hudson first put together Mindcrosser. Using an old desktop computer running a trial version of Fruity Loops, Hudson pieced together sounds that replicated personal emotions to the best of his ability. After creating a solid handful of "songs" Hudson met Ryan Lewis (910 Noise) via MySpace, and contributed two tracks to the 910 Noise Volume One compilation disc. When the CD hit local record stores, Mindcrosser received a great response to the track 'Her Skeletal Garden.' Later on, Hudson self-released a Mindcrosser EP entitled 'Indecisive' that included the "hit" 'Her Skeletal Garden.' The EP was strictly limited to only two physical copies, and for free download. This was the end of Mindcrosser until spring of 2008 where Hudson purchased a new Macbook loaded with GarageBand, an M-Audio midi controller, and took the sound in a different direction. Over the next several months Hudson continued to work alone and produce sounds in his bedroom when feeling gloomy, or bored. The song 'Carnival Trauma' was released on the 910 Noise v.3 compilation receiving little to no success, causing Hudson to end Mindcrosser and join the terrifying industrial duo Sore in the Masterpiece. After many dark months with Seven of Sore in the Masterpiece, a headlining show was performed, and a new album was in the works. In early 2009 Hudson posted on the Sore in the Masterpiece MySpace that he was leaving the band due to reasons unknown. Going back to square one and giving it another shot, Hudson resurrected Mindcrosser with the help of Taylor Greene. On March 6th 2009 Hudson and Greene teamed up and played the first live Mindcrosser performance ever at the 910 Noise Experimental Music and Noise Festival held at Bottega. Several days later, bassist Stuart Cotton joined Mindcrosser, and Hudson discovered guitarist Mitch Jones after complimenting him on his shoes downtown. Mindcrosser is now a fully active band that's practicing throughout the weeks for upcoming performances...
