"They Came From Outer Space is here..."
The new album "THEY CAME FROM OUTER SPACE" is recorded, pressed and available for purchase! The bands third album is the best sounding to date, with the energy of the tracks captured fantastically. The tracks have already gone down a storm at venue and festivals all over Essex.
Curly Circus were formed in 2000 when brothers Dan (vocals) and Bruce (drums), Andy (bass) and Tim (guitar) teamed up with Dale (keyboard) and Charlie (flute) to add depth to the sound.
By 2003 Curly Circus had recorded their first album ‘the Curly Circus’, supported the likes of Dodgy and the Blockheads, received attention from national music press, Dave the Clown completed the line up and Curly Circus were crowned Essex Battle of the Bands champions.
2005 saw Curly Circus play festivals with the Levellers and a sell out show at The Royal Albert Hall.
Curly Circus recorded their follow up double album ‘Come to Town’ having said farewell to Charlie (flute) and Jamie replacing Andy on bass.
‘Come to Town Part 1’ was released in 2006. A series of local independent self-promoted showcases saw the Curly Circus collaborate with London Hip Hop crew ‘Royal Priesthood’ for the Love Music Hate Racism charity.
Late 2006 saw Joe come in to replace Jamie on bass. The third album "They came from outer space" was recorded, by new bass player Warren, in autumn 2008.
