I'm a 25 year old opera singer. I have a somewhat extensive performance background. My formal education includes stints at Florida State University and the Chicago College of Performing Arts. I have performed in 14 states and 4 countries. I have also been invited to perform at festivals and masterclasses in Germany, France, Italy, Peru, Austria, Russia, and the Czech Republic. In July 2004 I performed as a soloist with the Rossini in Wildbad Festival (Germany) which was my official European opera debut. The recording from the festival is scheduled to be released worldwide on the NAXOS label in the near future. The following November I was invited to perform with the Festival Lyrique Aix-en-Provence (France) fall tour. My primary voice instructors include: Richard Stilwell, Michael Best, David Holloway, Janice Harsanyi, and Michael Koch. I have been fortunate enough to work with several outstanding coaches including: Raul Giminez, Daniel Ferro, Judith Haddon, Stanford Olsen, Mark Oswald, and Rachel Yakar. In June of 2006 I made a return to the Festival Lyrique Aix-en-Provence for a revival of the 2004 production. I have been a voice student at the University of South Carolina since the summer of 2007. In January 2008 I will be returning to France for another series of performances with the Festival Lyrique Aix-en-Provence. After the tour concludes I will continue my studies at USC. I'm also in the process of planning my summer activities which may include a trip to Spain or Russia. I'm also not nearly as self absorbed as this profile may suggest. I am, however, just as verbose. :)
