Hi! I'm Jonny, 18 from Bolton. I belong to a very musical family who are known to some as the Von Trapps of Farnworth! if only, - Julie Andrews would be my Grandma!! hehe!
I go to Holy Cross College, Bury studying Music, Theatre Studies, and Media Studies.
In all my spare time i sing and act and perform, whether it be for leisure or in productions in which i have played numerous roles in numerous productions including Les Miserables, Jesus Christ Supertar, West Side story and most recently, The World Premiere of Paradisium!
I also attempt to play the guitar when i can!...Currently, I am not at college due to recent very ill health..so I'm constantly at home recovering! "oooh The Good Life!"
So.... I know alot of you know how ill i have been, and to those who havn't here it is:
" On the 7th Sept. 06, I was diagnosed with having a Brain Tumour! I was transfered to Hope Hospital where the specialist surgeons were. There I was told that they would remove the tumour. Two days later I underwent serious brain surgery to do so! on coming round from surgery it was found that I would have some coordination problems, therefore tiring my left leg & left arm. I then began intense nuero physiotherapy to re-teach myself to walk and i now continue, after a 6 weeks stay in hospital, to have physio and am rapidy improving! Whilst still in hospital it was found in a scan that not all of the tumour hadd been removed, there was a slither of it left over from surgery, therefore I was referred to the specialist at Christies - The Manchester Cancer Hospital, where I would undergo a course of radiotherapy to remove the remaining tumour! This lasted 6 weeks and caused my hair to fall out - the worst bit!! but luckily only in the effected area! i have now had a scan and am awaiting the results of good news that we want to hear saying that it has all gone!"...so there you go! I still occasionally get side-effects such as head-aches and nauzia but luckily I feel ALOT better! I thought I best post something on here explaininig all because alot of people still don't know or know the full story! so there you go!!
