About Me

..Jordann Mitchell is a born and bred Texas lake bum. She started playing guitar to pass the time and somehow found herself in this crazy thing we call the Music Business. It is almost impossible to pick a genre for her music because her influences range anywhere from Rachael Yamagata to Modest Mouse. Six months after her first gig, her "Blank Checks EP" has dropped on iTunes. "Really to me, music isn't about the lyrics, it isn't about the chord progressions, it's about healing. Every song I have written is a little broken piece of me that I have let go. I guess you could say I have mastered the art of self-medicating"
