Influences: Amazone (26) started doing music in 1996. Amazone is half Brazilian and half Norwegian. His Brazilian roots has a lot of influence on his music. He finds his inspirations in Brazilian music like samba and other Latin rhythms, reggae, soul and hip hop!! Amazone loves to experiment and cross the limit. Mixing different styles of music is his specialty! His first solo single "back off" (2006) are inspired of 30..s jazz and Latin rhythm; it got listed 4 months on the biggest radio station in Norway(Nrk p3), it was a radio winner over the whole country. He got Norway's biggest soul artist (Sofian) as featuring on the single. With the next song " Need" Amazone was nominated for the best video of the year at the Norwegian hip hop awards. Amazone kept on working in the studio , producing and writing songs.. and now the time has come for him to show the world what his talking about musically.
Sounds Like: Amazone er halvt brasiliansk og halvt norsk. Hans brasilianske røtter er et tydelig kjennetegn ved musikken han skriver og produserer. Inspirasjon har han funnet i brasiliansk samba, salsa og flamenco. Amazone elsker å
eksperimentere samt krysse grenser. Blanding av ulike sjangere er hans spesialitet. Amazone Feat- Sofian Back Off ble b lista på nrk p3 2006 er inspirert av 30-talls jazz og latinske rytmer. Det er likevel ikke til å komme utenom at det er vel så mye hans heftige rap flow og tunge beats som stjeler oppmerksomheten.Amazone platedebuterte med gruppa Da Dons i 2002. Singelen deres "She don‚t know my game" lå fire uker på VG-lista og 10 uker på MTV Nordic‚s videoliste. I perioden med Da Dons turnerte Amazone store deler av Norge
og deltok både på Norway Cup‚s åpningsshow og som gjest under Casino-sending på TV Norge. Siden Da Dons ble oppløst har Amazone jobbet i studio med sitt soloalbum. På albumet er han låtskriver, produsent og artist.Norwegian Hiphop Awards..! : Under samme prisutdeling er Ammerud-gutten Amazone nominert i klassen beste video for låta "Need". Juryen skriver i begrunnelsen at Amazone har blitt mer og mer synlig ved hjelp av en rekke bra singler den siste tiden. Videoen til "Need" blir karakterisert som "kul og original og gjort på one-take"
