Suzana Ansar

Suzana Ansar is a British born classically trained Bengali singer from London. She has done television and live work all over the world and is a well known, much loved celebrity on the Bengali music scene. Having been born and brought up in the UK Suzana has maintained a strong connection with her Bengali roots and this comes across in her music. She has performed from the age of 3 winning countless singing competitions and best singer awards. Born for the stage and having had North Indian classical training, she swiftly made her name in the Bengali music scene being a well known and much loved celebrity with Bangladeshis globally.She sings comfortably in music genres ranging from Kheyal, Thumri, Bangla folk, Nazrul Geeti, Kawali, Sufi & Bhajan, as well as in any Asian language.
