The Apocryphalites

About Me

There is a medium of truth out there, but not in an ofference from the 256 line, cathode ray tube, plattered up by a tyrant of the right wing.
Did the world go a little darker on the day Desmond Dekker passed away?
Truth lies in every artistic statement, from the unusual to the moderately urbane.
One must sometimes stop and try not to smell the ketamine in the air, the rotting society from which we are all running.
Do not fear what you do not understand, these are just sentiments that don't yet register highly.
Seek reality, even if it is unreal.
That which is apocryphal may just be the one thing that has most meaning in your life.
Chose life, chose honesty, chose ska...........

Sounds Like: Straight outta London town with attitude drawn from Kingston, Jamaica, the brightest blue beat sounds from the royalty of rocksteady, we present The Apocryphalites. Blazing brass and infectious skank, this outfit drag the finest moments from back in the day and toast it with contemporary attitude. Taking inspiration from the likes of Prince Buster, Desmond Dekker and The Skatalites, fusing it with a Twenty-first century twist, this is one serious ska band to grind your boots to.
