A touch of sultry jazz and a splash of spicy Spanish characterize the latest collection of finely crafted songs from singer/songwriter Lisa McCormick. An Indie treasure, McCormick’s elegant command of language, unforgettably intimate vocals, and fluid acoustic guitar have been delighting acoustic music-lovers and earning high critical acclaim for many years.

Lisa McCormick's strong clear voice and sharp sense of humor light up the stage, with distinctly original contemporary acoustic songs characterized by daring sophisticated lyrics and infectious guitar rhythms. Her debut CD, "Right Now", produced by veteran folk/rocker Jonathan Edwards, earned McCormick instant acclaim, including the honors "Artist of the Year" and "Album of the Year" by Maine Public Radio, the Grand Prize in the USA Songwriting Competition, Grand Prize in the MIXX Magazine Indie Band Contest, and three preliminary GRAMMY nominations. Lisa McCormick was invited by Vermont Senator James Jeffords to be the one performing artist to represent her home state on the Millennium Stage at Washington’s Kennedy Center.
