AFGHANIXBLUEB

† formed 2003, AFGHANIXBLUEB was formed from different bands with varying genres. started as a band with sepultura, madball, and skychurch covers, afghanixblueb's first original "last breed of mankind" appeared in the university rock society compilation album. drawing influences from pantera, madball, skychurch and a bit of meshuggah, afghanixblueb formed a stop-start, groovy style of hardcore metal. orginal members are ken nicolas and aizhar quindoza on vocals, richard lazo and kaiser orogo on guitars, noriel sales on bass, and leevan pureza on drums. but after forming about half a year, richard and leevan decided to part ways with the band. aizhar decided to fill in the vacant guitar slot, hired marksyl zeta as drummer and decided to continue the ailing band. it was this time afghanixblueb found its own music. but marksyl also went on to continue his own likes of variety music. then came penny palma, a session drummer of various bands, decided to join afghanixblueb by early 2004. afghanixblueb was again reformed finding its way to be recognized in the metal scene. but another personnel change was done. kaiser was left by the band due to attitude problems. then came erson tejada, a guitarist from an alternative band, joined afghanixblueb by early 2005. after massive lineup changes, afghanixblueb remained active in the local underground scene. the current lineup composes of ken, aizhar, noriel, eric and allan ©2009
