“And then there was the Disco Shed. It will be a thing of legend, I’m sure: one shed, two blokes, mixing decks and a glittery disco ball. There were plant pots and garden gnomes, all on a little hill where countless people danced well into the night. It was truly magical how good that little shed and the music emanating from it made everyone feel.”

Loved it, particularly so on Sunday night. Didn't want it to end.

The Shed was outstanding! I put you guys at the top of my "favourites" list on the Online Survey.

Set of the weekend: Sunday night at The Disco Shed.

The encore at the end of the disco shed/paddy's set on sunday night was pretty incredible. Massive crowd spontaneously chanting 'ONE MORE TUNE, ONE MORE TUNE'. twas a proper 'moment', that :-)

The best way to spend the early-ish hours ever!

The Shed. Bloody ace. A home from homes, and paradise of parties.

Has to be said the shed is a work of sheer, mad genius.

Where was this shed?

had loads of fun on Sunday, probably played better than in the club tent as well!

"Well... I think I said at the time that the Disco Shed is definitely the best shed that I have ever DJed in! Being a country type, I felt right at home. Having full use of a smoke machine, despite being in the middle of a field, made it clear to me just how far mankind has progressed."
Hint (Tru Thoughts)

I spent 7 years practising in my bedroom only to find myself at a festival in a garden shed and I loved it"

"We've DJed from Tokyo to Miami, and Budapest to Brisbane, but I can't remember ever having such unique DJ experiences with more fun crowds than at the Disco Shed."

The Disco Shed rocks so hard it surely has pneumatic suspension. Bounce. Bounce. Everybody Bounce"

“The rain disappears and we power forward to a night of dancing outside the Disco Shed, oh yes, it's a disco which emulates out of a humble shed, and it's a right hoot.:

"...we headed back to the trusty Disco Shed to find one half of Hexstatic were doing an unscheduled but utterly amazing DJ set. As the crowd chanted 'last year's headline set, this year's disco shed' we wondered off to bed and watched the dawn break":

“I loved the disco shed in the market field. The best idea at Truck ever. Saturday night, disco lights in the shed, and a crowd of people dancing round it. Fantastic”
Festival Weather

“Hats must be raised first to Aidan (Skylarkin') and Paddy (Peepshow)'s ingenious Disco Shed, in the market area all weekend. Like a more inclusive outdoor Miniscule of Sound, the 'disco shed' puts in an impressive tour of duty keeping a happy crowd dancing and raising smiles from camping passers-by for the majority of the weekend, with sets of almost Tenaglian length from both DJs. Waiting for the toilet to the sound of Josh Wink's 'Higher State of Consciousness' may not help the bladder, but it certainly helps the festival atmosphere.”

"One of the less chilled things happening at the Big Chill festival in the UK this weekend was the Disco Shed. Pitched up in the middle of the site by Oxford based DJ's Peepshow Paddy and Skylarkin. They entertained people with low key DJ sets during the day; supplying deckchairs, a gazebo and lo-fi TV/video players with Jane Fonda work out videos for mass aerobic sessions. When the club tents and stages closed down on the last night, all those who just didn't want to believe the festival was about to end migrated to the shed for an impromptu rave, cut short only for security reasons.

You can give people well organized festivals but it's this kind of magic that will stick.”
