profiletweaks.com - Unique MySpace GeneratorsThe old school Death Metal band Mortuarium (ex-Eternal Terror) "died" halfway 1994 and Unshrouded Bitterness was born.After some intense rehearsing they went into the studio in summer '95 to record their first demo "Medieval Crystals" which sold out after a very short time. The reactions/reviews from all over the globe were fantastic. Due to some problems the violinist Esther left the band.In the spring of '96 they recorded their second effort in the Beaufort studio and it was simply called "Promo '96". The songs sounded more mature than the "Medieval Crystals" demo. Also the "Promo '96" sold beyond the expectations of the band and some labels showed interest in the band, but nothing really happened as U.B. felt they weren't ready yet. In the meantime drummer Maurits "Charagnanna" formed another band: Sabbatical Goat and S.G. guitarist Robin Berends was asked to join Unshrouded Bitterness and he agreed. Due to the lack of time, Robin decided to leave the band after only 2 gigs.In autumn '97 they recorded their 3rd opus "The Dawn of a New Aeon". This opus (30 minutes) was recorded again on 24 tracks, but this time at the famous Harrow Productions studio (Pentacle, Asphyx..). It contains 4 new songs and a re-recorded version of the song "The Call of Nature", which was also featured on their first demo. As Robin was willing to play on this recording, he played along as a session member.With "The Dawn of a New Aeon" Unshrouded Bitterness got the attention of TEUTONIC EXISTENCE RECORDS (Officium Triste, Xenomorph, In-Quest etc.) and got a deal to re-release "The Dawn of a New Aeon" on cd, but due to some problems Char decided to release it on his own label Bitterness Productions instead. This re-release with the name "For Centuries" saw the day of light in 1998. It also contained their 2 track Promo '98, which was recorded in their rehearsal room.During these years (1994-1998) they shared the stage with a.o. Occult, Within Temptation, Altar, Sadist, Manifest, Benediction, Warlord U.K., Centurian, Liar of Golgotha and a lot of other bands!In 1999 they recorded their last effort. Another two track promo, which was later put unto the "The Dawn of Unreleased Bitterness" CD together with the first two demos and rare recordings.Then all went quiet....All members were too busy with their other bands, work at the studio, families etc. People from all over the world kept writing letters encouraging to continue and even today many orders for the "Dawn.." come in.Now 2006 Unshrouded Bitterness will return....
