MKF/Kunst Fascion began creating sound as one of the founding members of RUA MINX in Houston TX performance spaces, gallerys, museums, dirty bedrooms and gay bars. Later founding BLCT (Broke Legs and Crocodile Tears) another performance art group with Jason Villegas of Macho Ministries and Eric Pearce of Discount Dracula Inc. BLCT was largly responsible for the destruction of vanity with it's lo-fi sound and sacriligious spirit!! Solo work began shortly after in the form of a one woman fashion show/ sound installation performed in gallerys such as Swing Space in NYC's Wall Street / Version Fest (Chicago)///// Later continuing to work with other Texas artists such as RUA MINX as RUA VS KUNST, Indian Jewelry, A Pink Cloud aka. FUTURE BLONDS and CRY BLOOD APACHE//++ Taking a short break after a home invasion and subsequent homelessness she helped create a new cold wave sound known as //TENSE// a Houston Leather Powerhouse. Now also a founding member of MEDIO MUTANTE, a cross country analog love affair with partners Jose Cota and Seth Nemec, Medio Mutante is currently working on the third release after the success of the first two on Cititrax(NYC) and DSWP(BERLIN). Kunst continues to write solo music and is working on a new edition of her last album EL DIOSO, and is also working on hew newest project "NENA Y TOMAS" with European raised Robert Lane. When she is not getting kicked out of gay bars and goth clubs due to substance abuse, MKF enjoys looking for love in all the wrong places and programing machines in her underwear.
