About Me

My name is Trista, I live in Alabama. I'm 21, fixing to be 22, the age I decided about 2 years ago was the "ideal age." I work at Client Logic, whoops, I mean, Citel. I really don't dig my job, but it pays better than burger flipping so I'm stuck with it. I am dating Andy Pair, we just started dating but he was my best--and sometimes, only, friend for a long time. He means the world to me. He's my best friend and boyfriend. I don't like drama. I deal with enough of it at work, so I don't need any from you, whoever you are. Comprehend? Good job!

Music:

I listen to practically anything but the tightest CD I got right now is Emac's CD, "Rellik." If you haven't heard it, you need to go to Emac's homepage on here and listen to the songs on there, the brotha got style like you ain't never seen! It might not be the things you wanna hear, but he's real. Thats all there is to it, he doesn't try to candy coat the shit, he is just real! I also love listening to Neyo and Lyfe Jennings, Neyo has a very beautiful voice and his songs are awesome and Lyfe is just as real as Emac, he writes and sings the truth.

Movies:

The Devil's Rejects (thus the quote), The Color Purple, Memoirs of a Geisha, Sleepy Hollow, anything funny, bout black ppl (lol, but really, I like ghetto movies, gangsta movies, comedies, chick flicks, but all of those seem better when its black *lol*), or that will make me cry.

Television:

Anything on Lifetime (shut up, I like to cry!), anything on Adult Swim (almost, I will watch anything on there, but the best ones are funny, NOT Anime, usually...and Full Metal Alchemist)...and I am not a hard core Adult Swim fan, I stopped being hardcore anything fan when I lost interest in Nick Carter *lol*

Books:

The Traveling Pants series, but the movie sucks! READ THE BOOK its better:) I haven't found many black authors that I don't like. My favorite book is The Upper Room by Mary Monroe.Well, I've came to a new conclusion, I love books, just books in general, nothing in particular, anything fiction, hell, I'd probably read a good sci-fi book, but seriously, I like almost anything I can read and get into.

Heroes:

My hero is my mom and my grandmother. I know it sounds VERY clique, BUT they are the strongest women I know. My mother because she has been thru so much, she lost her dad on March 17, 2006, and she is still being very strong. My grandmother is a very incredible woman also, she lost her husband and is still working a farm and carrying on. I hope to be as strong as they are.
