DLC the Engineer is the artistic pseudonym of Sebastian DLC. As a Music Engineer major graduated from the University of Miami, Sebastian gives a hand to local artists in the art of studio recording and song production.
Mr. DLC's techniques varies according to the project. From a minimalist L.A. style approach to recording, trying to capture pure sounds and using the least amount of synthesized instruments, to the hyper-compressed N.Y. style that gives the song that "radio sound", DLC helps the artist choose the right instrumentation for the right song.
This space is dedicated to meet new talent and showcase past recordings. Every song featured on the play list has been recorded, mixed and mastered by Sebastian DLC. The name of the author/composer is noted on the left bottom corner of the player.
