About Me

We are The Inadequates: a melodic punk band from LIVERPOOL, ENGLAND. We formed in 1999 and subsequent to that have been rolling steadily downhill towards cirrhosis of the liver. In January 2007, Singer Ian Perkins sadly passed away in his rain hill apartment. The coroners verdict was that Toxoplasmosis was the cause. The Inadequates are notorious for being too drunk to play shows and most people on first inspection wouldn’t give them a second listen. Not fazed by negative opinions by music boffins that know fuck all; we have flown aimlessly through the first decade of the new millennium, much like a head less chicken: not knowing where we’re going or that we’re fucked up, not changing, not giving a fuck and drinking copious amounts of beer along the way.We have managed to share stages with bands like: The Queers, UK Subs, The Misfits, The Groovie Ghoulies, The Apers & More!

a review of our Mp3s

I've recently had a change of heart about this band. I think the Inadequates more than adequately emulated the 1960's American Garage sound and in fact I found them reminiscent of such bands as the M...
