I will begin by giving Thanks to Vonzell who taught me everything I know.You are amazing. Dj Gloria's Bio,It was 1990,The first time I got my opportunity to spin at AKA.All I remember was being nervous although I was only spinning for an hour as the main attraction being Mario Smokin' Diaz would take over the decks.I played House Music for the entire hour & I remember the few people who came early to avoid the five dollar cover charge.I remember them dancing & having such a fabulous time & that was all it took to convince me that this is my destiny.This is my calling,if you would.After a few months at AKA,I moved on to bigger & better things. I became the resident Dj at a few nightclubs & Boy, was I having the time of my life.There is nothing bad that can be said about this business.It is always fun after fun after fun.Well, on occasion you get an idiot who bothers the Dj to make a dumbass request.Learn something Children,DO NOT BOTHER THE DJ unless you are going to tell him/her what a wonderful job they are doing. I have shared my Dj skills at such clubs as;X-Calibur,Rednofive,Generator,Parkwest,Harry's Velvet Room & the list goes on....I've been blessed to share the night w/ Frankie Knuckles,Lego,Boolumaster,Sundance,Dj Phantom,Ron Carroll,Lora Branch,Craig Loftis,Fathom Dj,Dj Castro & so many other.For some reason I am really drawn to Vocal,Deep & Gospel House.Vocal & Deep House has to be the sexiest music made today.Gospel House is just so good for your soul.My goal is to teach this unique talent to people who are interested in learning how to mix.Shoot me an email if you are interested.I will continue to bring my talent to those of you who come out to support me and for those of you who don't know my skills, I have cds available.
